Dual integral equations with Fox's H-function kernel
The dual integral equations involving Bessel function kernels were first considered by Weber in 1873. The problem comprised of finding potential of an electrified disc which belongs to a general category of mixed boundary value problems.

Freeze‐drying of layered silicate is the key to get coatings with superior gas barrier. Freeze‐drying of layered silicates modified with dodecylamine (DDA) is a highly effective technique for the preparation of barrier pigments that significantly mitigate the permeation of oxygen, water vapor, and hydrogen through polymer films containing these ...

The finite range Wiener-Hopf integral equation and a boundary value problem in a waveguide
In this paper the boundary value problem of a finite bifurcation in a rectangular waveguide is formulated in terms of a finite range Wiener-Hopf integral equation, and the solution of the integral equation is presented.

This study uncovers the unexplored role of intermolecular interactions in multiphoton absorption in coordination polymers. By analyzing [Zn2tpda(DMA)2(DMF)0.3], it shows how the electronic coupling of the chromophores and confinement in the MOF enhance two‐and three‐photon absorption.

Toughening β‐Ga2O3 via Mechanically Seeded Dislocations
β‐Ga2O3 is promising for next‐generation semiconductors but its brittleness limits flexible and high‐precision applications. Here, mechanically seeded dislocations introduced by surface deformation improved damage tolerance in (001) β‐Ga2O3. Nanoindentation and characterization show dislocations suppress cleavage cracks by enabling stable plastic ...

Spatially Tailorable Liquid Crystalline Elastomer Alignment During Digital Light Process 3D Printing
Here, we report the fabrication of 3D printable liquid crystalline elastomer (LCE) structures with spatially tailorable alignment domains within the same layer. This work addresses the long‐standing challenge of preparing complex 3D LCE architectures with patterned functional domains to achieve nonlinear deformations. Fabrication of multi‐domains in 3D

xx xx. ABSTRACT Osseointegration of orthopedic and dental implants is influenced by local and systemic factors, including their physicochemical surface properties and the patient's overall health status. Titanium and its alloys have been a longstanding standard for bone implants due to their innate biocompatibility and mechanical properties.

Integration on loop groups II. Heat equation for the Wiener measure
[For Parts I and III, cf. ibid. 93, 207-237 (1990; Zbl 0715.22024) and ibid. 108, 13-46 (1992; Zbl 0762.22019).] Let \(G\) denote a compact semisimple Lie group, and let \(L(G)\) denote the group of ``free'' loops over \(G\); i.e. the group of continuous maps \(\gamma\) from \([0,1]\) into \(G\) satisfying \(\gamma(0)=\gamma(1)\).
