Reliability analysis of two-stage nonlinear phase-dependent Wiener degradation process

open access: yesStatistical Theory and Related Fields
Accurately assessing reliability and predicting the life of products is an important part of Prediction and Prognostics and Health Management. According to historical degradation data of products, the degradation model of two-stage nonlinear phase ...

Multicolor and Attenuated Light Intensity Responses in Protein Hydrogels Arising from Photoregulated Crosslink Dynamics

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
A fully protein‐based hydrogel integrated two orthogonal photoreceptors to enable reversible manipulation of stiffness with red/far‐red light and irreversible gel‐sol transitions with green light. Unexpectedly, high‐intensity red light results in attenuated stiffening and dark‐adaptation, arising from increased crosslinking dynamics in the ...

Molecular Dioxygen‐Mediated Passivation of Electron Traps in n‐Type Organic Charge‐Transfer Complexes

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
O2 enhances charge‐transfer in n‐type organic donor–acceptor charge‐transfer complexes (CTCs) via physisorption‐mediated trap passivation. By suppressing recombination and promoting long‐lived delocalized charge carriers, O2 improves electron transport and conductivity without doping.

Quadratic variation of functionals of two-parameter Wiener process

open access: yes
The quadratic variation of functionals of the two-parameter Wiener process of the form f(W(s, t)) is investigated, where W(s, t) is the standard two-parameter Wiener process and f is a function on the reals.

Guiding and Manipulating Light Fields in Microstructured Liquid Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
This review summarizes recent advances in guided‐wave optics enabled by microstructured liquid crystal (LC) devices, covering their fundamental material properties, key degree of freedom for dynamic light field manipulations. The advances of linear guided‐wave optics, nonlinear‐optics with spatial optical solitons, and microlasers in LC‐based devices ...

Skeletal pathologies in extant crocodilians as a window into the paleopathology of fossil archosaurs

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Crocodilians, together with birds, are the only extant relatives to many extinct archosaur groups, making them highly important for interpreting paleopathological conditions in a phylogenetic disease bracketing model. Despite this, comprehensive data on osteopathologies in crocodilians remain scarce.
