To achieve an optimal time-control for a late Subboreal to early Subatlantic peat sequence from Pančavská Louka in the Czech Republic, different strategies are applied to convert a series of radiocarbon dates into a calendar time-scale. The methods of selection and preparation of the samples for AMS 14C dating are presented.
