Multi‐Modal AI Approach in Depression Detection and Treatment: A Systematic Review of Last Decade

open access: yesWIREs Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery, Volume 16, Issue 3, September 2026.
Overview of multimodal approaches for depression detection and treatment. ABSTRACT Depression is a common and devastating mental health illness with serious personal and societal consequences. Despite advancing treatment techniques, there are still hurdles in the effective diagnosis and treatment of depression, such as prompt diagnosis, personalized ...

A note on ultrapolynomials and the Wigner distribution

open access: yesNovi Sad Journal of Mathematics - NSJOM, 2000
Summary: Following Komatsu's approach to ultradistributions, we give new estimates on a class of ultrapolynomials. Our second result is an estimate on the growth of the Wigner distribution on a space of Gelfand-Shilov type. The obtained results are important for theorems on boundedness of pseudodifferential operators on ultramodulation spaces quoted in

How Structural Subtleties Modulate Excited‐State Lifetimes in Cyclometalated Cobalt(III) Complexes: Nonadiabatic Molecular Dynamics Study

open access: yesJournal of Computational Chemistry, Volume 47, Issue 20, July 30, 2026.
Nonadiabatic trajectory simulations unravel the origin of different relaxation times scales observed for two Co(III) complexes, bearing different alkyl groups at their ligands. ABSTRACT Ultrafast excited‐state dynamics of two Co(III) complexes, bearing different alkyl groups (Co1: Methyl, Co2: Ethyl) at the nitrogen of the imidazole ligand, are ...

Fubini‐Study Metric Tensor Evolution and Reduced State Distinguishability in Geometry‐Aware Optimization for Reliable Near‐Term Variational Quantum Eigensolvers

open access: yesInternational Journal of Quantum Chemistry, Volume 126, Issue 13, July 5, 2026.
During optimization via the quantum natural gradient in a variational quantum eigensolver, the evolution of the Fubini‐Study metric suppresses irrelevant parameter directions and reduces state distinguishability near the ground state. ABSTRACT The lack of both a consistently effective and broadly reliable classical optimizer for variational quantum ...

Unraveling the Electronic Structure of Silicon Vacancy Centers in 4H‐SiC

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 58, 20 July 2026.
The electronic structure of the silicon vacancy in 4H‐SiC is probed via transient absorption spectroscopy, uncovering previously inaccessible excited states of the quartet and doublet spin channels, including the V2' transition. In combination with theoretical analysis, a comprehensive picture of the electronic structure is established.

Kaon GTMDs in the Dyson–Schwinger equations using contact interaction

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
An array of the kaon twist-two, three, four generalised transverse momentum dependent parton distributions (GTMDs) has been investigated within the framework of covariant and confining Dyson–Schwinger equations using contact interaction.

Fourier Expansion‐Based Approach to the Parameter Space of Classical Systems

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 538, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT We propose a new approach to compute the classical metric tensor (CMT) and the Hannay curvature using Fourier series expansions in action‐angle variables. This approach circumvents the need for complex time‐domain integrals or the construction of generating functions, replacing them with algebraic combinations of Fourier coefficients. We prove

Causality of ultrafast photoionization from argon using an ab initio relativistic approach

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics
We study real-time photoionization flux at the $3s$ Amusia–Cooper minimum (ACM) in argon using ab initio simulations with the relativistic time-dependent configuration-interaction singles (RTDCIS) method in length (LG) and velocity (VG) gauges.

Long‐Range Interactions in Topological Superconducting Systems: A Mini Review

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 5, Issue 7, July 2026.
Long‐range interacting quantum systems are surveyed in this review, with an emphasis on the long‐range topological superconductor and its variants. Long‐range interactions decaying in a power‐law manner can lead to exotic phenomena that finds no analogue in short‐range regimes.

Squeezed‐Vacuum Bosonic Codes

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 5, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT We introduce a family of bosonic quantum error‐correcting codes built as a rotation‐symmetric superposition of squeezed vacuum states, which promise protection against both loss and dephasing noise channels. The robustness of these “squeezed‐vacuum codes” arises from being arranged at evenly spaced angles in phase‐space, and simultaneously in ...
