Feature Extraction of Gear Fault Signal Based on Sobel Operator and WHT

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2013
Taking Wigner-Ville distribution of gear fault signal as a picture, Sobel operator was applied for edge detection of picture and then Hough transform was used to extract signal feature.

Dynamical entropic measure of nonclassicality of phase-dependent family of Schrödinger cat states

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
The phase-space approach based on the Wigner distribution function is used to study the quantum dynamics of the three families of the Schrödinger cat states identified as the even, odd, and Yurke–Stoler states.

A microscopic ancient river channel identification method based on maximum entropy principle and Wigner-Ville Distribution and its application

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2021
In view of the problem of fine characterization of narrow and thin channels, the maximum entropy criterion is used to enhance the focusing characteristics of Wigner-Ville Distribution.

Wigner Distributions of Quark [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics: Conference Series, 2016
Wigner distribution functions are the quantum analogue of the classical phase space distribution and being quantum implies that they are not genuine phase space distribution and thus lack any probabilistic interpretation. Nevertheless, Wigner distributions are still interesting since they can be related to both generalized parton distributions (GPDs ...

Tunable Negative Thermal Expansion in Fe/Cr‐Substituted Nd2Co17 Compounds via Magnetoelastic Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study achieves anisotropic thermal expansion tuning in Nd2(Co1‐xFex)17‐yCry compounds via a magnetoelastic strategy. Variable‐temperature synchrotron X‐ray diffraction reveals that increased Fe content induces switchable lattice responses. Compositional control reduces the volume expansion coefficient αV by 20% (x═0.7) and modulates TC (442–625 K),

Real time design and implementation of MTD-SWVD using FPGA [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Engineering Science and Military Technologies, 2018
Recently, Summed Wigner Ville Distribution-based Moving Target Detection (SWVD-MTD) has been proposed by the authors to replace the traditional Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) based MTD or conventional Wigner Ville Distribution (WVD)-based MTD[1].

Efficient Screening of Organic Singlet Fission Molecules Using Graph Neural Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A high‐throughput screening framework based on graph neural networks (GNNs) and multi‐level validation facilitates the identification of singlet fission (SF) candidates. By efficiently predicting excitation energies across 20 million molecules, and integrating TDDFT calculations, synthetic accessibility assessments, and GW+BSE calculations, this ...

FIRE‐GNN: Force‐Informed, Relaxed Equivariance Graph Neural Network for Rapid and Accurate Prediction of Surface Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This study introduces FIRE‐GNN, a force‐informed, relaxed equivariant graph neural network for predicting surface work functions and cleavage energies from slab structures. By incorporating surface‐normal symmetry breaking and machine learning interatomic potential‐derived force information, the approach achieves state‐of‐the‐art accuracy and enables ...

The Fractional Fourier Transform and Its Application to Energy Localization Problems

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2003
Applying the fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) and the Wigner distribution on a signal in a cascade fashion is equivalent to a rotation of the time and frequency parameters of the Wigner distribution.
