Magnetic Dynamics and Elongated Coherence of a High‐Spin Mn(II) Qubit Doped into a Metal‐Organic Framework

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that dilute Mn(II) (∼0.02 mol%) doped into the Zn(II)‐MOF [CH6N3][Zn(HCOO)3] act as high‐spin (S = 5/2) spin qubits, achieving microsecond phase memory times above 50 K—the first report for Mn(II)‐based systems. Robust hydrogen‐bonding networks suppress relaxation and stabilize the lattice, extending T2.

Quantum mechanical photon-count formula derived by entangled state representation

open access: yes, 2010
By introducing the thermo entangled state representation, we derived four new photocount distribution formulas for a given density operator of light field.

Structural Properties of Yukawa One‐Component Plasmas Revisited

open access: yesContributions to Plasma Physics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACTYukawa one‐component plasmas are fully described in terms of the Coulomb coupling parameter Γ$$ \Gamma $$ and the screening parameter κ$$ \kappa $$. One of their remarkable properties is the existence of lines of constant effective coupling, Γeff(Γ,κ)$$ {\Gamma}_{\mathrm{eff}}\left(\Gamma, \kappa \right) $$, along which their short‐range ...

Fully Quantum Perturbative Description of Correlated Stokes–Anti‐Stokes Scattering

open access: yesphysica status solidi (b), EarlyView.
The generation of Stokes‐anti‐Stokes (SaS) photon pairs with quantum correlations, like entanglement, has been developing recently, but a proper theoretical ground was missing. A fully quantum perturbative theory is provided to describe the four‐wave mixing contribution to the correlated SaS scattering, in which both matter and electromagnetic field ...

Wigner Functions

open access: yesEncyclopedia
Wigner functions are a distribution function on phase space that allow to represent the state of a quantum-mechanical system. They are in many ways similar to classical phase space probability distributions, but can, in contrast to these, be negative.

Direct Measurement of Kirkwood-Rihaczek distribution for spatial properties of coherent light beam

open access: yes, 2009
We present direct measurement of Kirkwood-Rihaczek (KR) distribution for spatial properties of coherent light beam in terms of position and momentum (angle) coordinates.

Unveiling Hidden Features of Strongly Correlated Quantum Systems Through a Complex‐Network Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, EarlyView.
By applying complex network theory, we report a fundamental and previously unobserved phenomenon in the finite‐size Kitaev model: a singular point at which uniform, nonzero entanglement emerges among all fermion pairs, forming a complete entanglement network.

Bell's inequalities, multiphoton states and phase space distributions

open access: yes, 1998
The connection between quantum optical nonclassicality and the violation of Bell's inequalities is explored. Bell type inequalities for the electromagnetic field are formulated for general states of quantised radiation and their violation is connected to

Abundance estimates of eastern black rails in southeastern Colorado

open access: yesWildlife Society Bulletin, EarlyView.
This study estimated eastern black rail (Laterallus jamaicensis jamaicensis) detection, occupancy, and abundance in southeastern Colorado. We found detection probability increased later in the season and later at night but decreased with ambient noise. Occupancy increased with residual vegetation height and detection of Virginia rail (Rallus limicola).

Quark Wigner distributions in a light-cone spectator model

open access: yes, 2015
We investigate the quark Wigner distributions in a light-cone spectator model. The Wigner distribution, as a quasi-distribution function, provides the most general one-parton information in a hadron. Combining the polarization configurations, unpolarized,
