The concept of the phase space plays a key role in the analysis of oscillating signals. For a 1-D signal, the coordinates of the 2-D phase space are the observation time and the instant frequency. For measurements of propagating wave fields, the time and

Superradiance and Broadband Emission Driving Fast Electron Dephasing in Open Quantum Systems
We uncover the physical origin of ultrafast electron dephasing in solid‐state high‐harmonic generation by simulating the Lindblad equation for the dissipative Hubbard model. Coexistence of Dicke superradiance and broadband emission is revealed, whose destructive interference shortens the effective scattering time and provides a unified picture of ...

Complexity growth and the Krylov-Wigner function
For any state in a D-dimensional Hilbert space with a choice of basis, one can define a discrete version of the Wigner function — a quasi-probability distribution which represents the state on a discrete phase space.

Phase-space description of the coherent state dynamics in a small one-dimensional system
The Wigner-Moyal approach is applied to investigate the dynamics of the Gaussian wave packet moving in a double-well potential in the ‘Mexican hat’ form.

This study achieves anisotropic thermal expansion tuning in Nd2(Co1‐xFex)17‐yCry compounds via a magnetoelastic strategy. Variable‐temperature synchrotron X‐ray diffraction reveals that increased Fe content induces switchable lattice responses. Compositional control reduces the volume expansion coefficient αV by 20% (x═0.7) and modulates TC (442–625 K),

Photonuclear Population of 229m,gTh in Th‐Doped Crystals Toward Nuclear Clock Development
This study demonstrates a novel photonuclear approach for producing the nuclear clock isomer 229mTh in thorium‐doped crystals, overcoming current supply limitations. Through cross‐section calculations and Monte Carlo simulations, we identify optimal crystal materials and irradiation conditions, achieving high signal‐to‐noise ratios.

Approximating the Time-Frequency Representation of Biosignals with Chirplets
A new member of the Cohen's class time-frequency distribution is proposed. The kernel function is determined adaptively based on the signal of interest. The kernel preserves the chirp-like components while removing interference terms generated due to
