Abstract Premise Climate change is altering the timing of many plant phenological events, yet most studies focus on flowering, with less attention given to later reproductive stages such as fruit development and ripening. Vaccinium angustifolium (lowbush blueberry) is an important perennial berry species that may be sensitive to these changes.

Foraging behaviour of equatorial Afrotropical stingless bees: habitat selection and competition for resources [PDF]
This thesis is a result of fieldwork on foraging ecology of Afrotropical stingless bees in Uganda. This is because most studies on stingless bee ecology are largely based in South America and South-east Asia and have ignored the aspects of Afrotropical ...

A BEE indicator for monitoring wild bee diversity in agricultural systems
Given the growing importance of assessing the condition of wild bees in agroecosystems, we focused on developing a BEE indicator that could be easily used by non-expert taxonomists to score bee diversity. Our goal was to create a tool suitable for farm-level use, one that does not require taxonomic expertise nor heavy field work.

Improving the standardization of wild bee occurrence data: towards a formal wild bee data standard
Conservation and management of wild bees is hindered by the variety of ways wild bee occurrence data are recorded, managed, and shared. Here, we present solutions to address this issue and introduce The Wild Bee Data Standard, a standardized means of recording and reporting data associated with wild bee occurrences, including physical specimens and ...

Abstract The Late Triassic–Early Jurassic fissures of the Bristol Channel area (southwest England and south Wales) are renowned for their diverse vertebrate faunas. These assemblages have yielded an array of predominantly small‐bodied forms that are crucial to our understanding of the early evolution of several major tetrapod clades.

Abstract Intraspecific variation in social organization (IVSO) within primate populations can arise due to male mating competition. Verreaux's sifaka (Propithecus verreauxi) populations exhibit both single‐male and multi‐male groups, providing an opportunity to examine the relationship between male competitive ability and social organization.
