Primary and secondary abscission in Pisum sativum and Euphorbia pulcherrima –how do they compare and how do they differ? [PDF]

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2016
Abscission is a highly regulated and coordinated developmental process in plants. It is important to understand the processes leading up to the event, in order to better control abscission in crop plants.

Resistência de amendoim-bravo aos herbicidas inibidores da enzima acetolactato sintase Wild poinsettia resistance to acetolactate synthase inhibitor herbicides

open access: yesPlanta Daninha, 1999
O controle contínuo de plantas daninhas através da aplicação de herbicidas que apresentam atividade em um único local de ação nas plantas favorece a seleção de biótipos resistentes a estes herbicidas, em certas espécies vegetais.

Cloning and expression of cell wall acid invertase gene fragment from poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima wild.)

open access: yesAfrican Journal of Biotechnology, 2012
A fragment of invertase gene containing catalytic sites of cysteine was cloned from poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima wild.) by using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method. The length of the fragment was 521 bp, encoding 173 amino acids and containing a part of open reading frames, but no intron.

Formulation and pathogenicity of a bioherbicide for wild poinsettia control [PDF]

open access: yesAfrican Journal of Microbiology Research, 2020
Adequate formulation of bioproducts represents one of the most challenging aspects of bioproduct development. The incorporation of adjuvants with bioagents can positively influence product development. However, it is indispensable to evaluate the sensitivity of bioagents to these adjuvants.
