Hidden lineages in the African Sky Islands: A taxonomic reevaluation of Afrocarduus (Compositae)
Species delimitation is crucial for biodiversity studies. Using Hyb‐Seq and phylogenomics, we reassessed Afrocarduus, endemic to Afromontane and Afroalpine regions, uncovering 16 evolutionary lineages (2.3 Mya).
