Titanium Suboxides Responsible for Electronic Anomaly Near Room Temperature in the Ti3C2Tx MXene
Our multi‐technique study reveals that the near‐room‐temperature anomaly in Ti3C2Tx MXene is linked to titanium suboxide nanodomains, including Ti3O5, embedded within the MXene host. Their temperature‐driven transformation provides an alternative explanation to solvent‐ and swelling‐based models and offers new insight into the thermally activated ...

Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) accounts for over 50% of the global cathode market, underscoring the need for efficient recycling and regeneration. We propose a dual‐salt carbothermal shock (CTS) strategy using LiI and NaI to in situ repair Li vacancies.

A Zn2+‐coordinated poly(vinylidene fluoride) binder is shown to suppress Jahn–Teller‐driven Mn dissolution while improving dispersion, wettability, and structural integrity in thick MnO2 cathodes. This simple binder‐engineering strategy enables high‐loading aqueous Zn‐ion batteries with enhanced areal capacity, cycling stability, and practical promise ...

The traditional wind-induced response analysis of high-rise buildings conventionally considers the wind load as a stationary stochastic process. That is, for a certain wind direction angle, the reference wind speed (usually refers to the mean wind speed ...

Experimental study of wind-rain-induced cable vibration using a new model setup scheme
Wind-rain tunnel test of cable section model is one of the effective ways to explore mechanism of wind-rain-induced cable vibration and its mitigation. However, most of previous model setup schemes consider vertical vibration of cable only, in which the ...
