Assessment of the Wind Energy Potential of Kutahya, Turkey [PDF]
In Turkey, as in various parts of the world, there is almost no wind data with the appropriate quality for an evaluation of wind potential. Therefore, in this study, wind characteristics have been analyzed in Kutahya, Turkey. Characteristics such as annual, seasonal, monthly and diurnal wind speed and wind direction variations are examined between July

In search of the wind energy potential [PDF]
The worldwide advancement of wind energy is putting high demands on a number of underlying technologies such as wind turbine aerodynamics, structural dynamics, gearbox design, electrical grid connections, and so on. As wind is the only fuel for wind power plants, naturally, wind-meteorology and wind-climatology are essential for any utilization of wind
