Wind power plant resonances

open access: yes, 2016
Onshore and offshore wind power plants comprising wind turbines equipped with power converters are increasing in number worldwide. Harmonic emissions in power converters distort currents and voltages, leading to power quality problems. Low order resonances in the collector grid can increase the impact of wind turbine emissions.

THE IMPORTANCE OF INTEGRATING SYNCHRONOUS COMPENSATOR STATCOM IN WIND POWER PLANT CONNECTED INTO THE MEDIUM VOLTAGE GRID [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sustainable Energy, 2016
Integration of wind power plant in medium voltage grid is comply with the same regulations as conventional plants. To realize in the point of common coupling grid, reactive power levels as close to zero is necessary to use reactive power ...

Two-Stage Optimal Dispatching of Wind Power-Waste Incineration Virtual Power Plant with Flue Gas Storage Device

open access: yesZhongguo dianli, 2019
The energy consumption for the flue gas treatment in the waste incineration power plant accounts for a large proportion of the plant's total power output, and its on-grid output is constrained by the coupling relationship between the power generation and

Wind power plant control: an overview [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Recent developments in wind turbine technology go towards installation of larger Wind Power Plants (WPPs). Therefore, power system operators have been challenged by the WPP penetration impacts in order to maintain reliabillity and stability of the power system.

Real‐World Investigation of Satralizumab in Patients With Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Satralizumab, a monoclonal antibody targeting the interleukin‐6 receptor, has demonstrated efficacy in clinical trials for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD). However, its real‐world effectiveness and safety compared to conventional immunosuppressive therapies remain uncertain.

Deep Learning–Assisted Differentiation of Four Peripheral Neuropathies Using Corneal Confocal Microscopy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Peripheral neuropathies contribute to patient disability but may be diagnosed late or missed altogether due to late referral, limitation of current diagnostic methods and lack of specialized testing facilities. To address this clinical gap, we developed NeuropathAI, an interpretable deep learning–based multiclass classification ...

Association of Corticospinal Tract Asymmetry With Ambulatory Ability After Intracerebral Hemorrhage

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Ambulatory ability after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is important to patients. We tested whether asymmetry between ipsi‐ and contra‐lesional corticospinal tracts (CSTs) assessed by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is associated with post‐ICH ambulation.

The role of typical low vertical lattice sand barriers in regulating the airflow field on wind-eroded surfaces of photovoltaic power plants

open access: yesFrontiers in Environmental Science
Deserts are ideal places to build photovoltaic (PV) power plants, but this plants often face challenges from strong wind and sand activities during the operation and maintenance period, exploring the effects of PV power plant construction on wind ...

Predicting Epileptogenic Tubers in Patients With Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Using a Fusion Model Integrating Lesion Network Mapping and Machine Learning

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Accurate localization of epileptogenic tubers (ETs) in patients with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is essential but challenging, as these tubers lack distinct pathological or genetic markers to differentiate them from other cortical tubers.
