Resonant Domain Wall Dynamics in a Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Nano Double Helix
3D magnetic nanostructures promise exciting possibilities for magnetization dynamics. However, experimental realizations remain scarce. In nanoprinted cobalt double helices, time‐resolved X‐ray microscopy reveals harmonic domain wall dynamics. Simulations identify the mode and additional higher‐frequency resonances, revealing a rich dynamic landscape ...

Topological insulator–metamaterials integrated with electrically driven terahertz quantum cascade lasers enable parity‐dependent harmonic generation. Bulk‐dominated Bi2Se3 favors third‐harmonic emission at 9.96 THz, whereas topological‐surface‐state‐dominated Bi2Se3, Bi2Te3, and (Bi,Sb)2Te3 generate strong second harmonics near 6.5 THz.

High Resolution Wind Retrieval for Seawinds on QuikSCAT [PDF]
The Sea Winds instrument was designed to provide wind measurements over the oceans with a resolution of 25x25 km per pixel. Through the use of image enhancement algorithms developed at BYU this resolution can be increased to as fine as 2.5x2.5 km.

Melt electrofibrillation (MEF) enables the fabrication of nanofibrillar PCL scaffolds with defined architectures that guide cellular alignment and retention during cartilage tissue engineering. Unlike conventional melt electrowriting, MEF consistently directs collagen type II‐rich extracellular matrix organization, providing a tunable platform to ...

Wind Field Retrieval from Satellite Radar Systems [PDF]
Wind observations are essential for determining the atmospheric flow. In particular, sea-surface wind observations are very useful for many meteorological and oceanographic applications. In this respect, most of the satellite remote-sensing radar systems
