Subsurface State Bilayer in Tetragonal Ferroelectric BaTiO3
The subsurface Ba2+disorder, reveals the pairs of O vacancies (VO++$V_O^{ + + }$ s) and small polarons (SPe‐SPe−$SP_e^ - $ s) (Figure a–b), with the charge balance, as the following: Ti3++[VO+++SPe−]pair↔Ti4+${{T}_i}^{3 + } + {{[V_O^{ + + } + SP_e^ - ]}_{pair}} \leftrightarrow T_i^{4 + }$ which is consistent with observed low‐energy electron ...

Hot-bench simulation of the active flexible wing wind-tunnel model [PDF]
Two simulations, one batch and one real-time, of an aeroelastically-scaled wind-tunnel model were developed. The wind-tunnel model was a full-span, free-to-roll model of an advanced fighter concept.

WIND TUNNEL TEST FOR MEMBRANE STRUCTURE
Membrane structures are very light weight structure and those deflection at strong wind are very large, frequently. Therefore, wind tunnel tests has been planned to investigate aerodynamic behavior. The model for test requir that many similarity parameters are matched for model and prototype. In practice, it is almost impossible to match all similarity

Additive manufacturing, specifically fused deposition modeling, offers an innovative approach to creating 3D‐printed variable orifice flowmeters with integrated temperature compensation. Using carbon‐black TPU, the primary component (a variable orifice) and the secondary element (a diaphragm pressure sensor) are fabricated.

Kasprzyk airfoil. The first wind-tunnel tests [PDF]
The Kasprzyk slotted flap glider airfoil (the Kasper wing) enabling glider flight at 32 km/h and 0.5 m/sec descent speed was wind tunnel tested in the U.S. The test layout is described and reasons offered for discrepancies between wind tunnel results and
