Turbulent Wind Turbine Wakes in a Wind Farm
2012A model of flow in a cluster of wind turbines has been developed. The model predicts average and standard deviation of wind speed in a wind farm as function of ambient wind speed, wind direction and turbulence intensity. In this paper the sub-models for velocity deficit and added turbulence of a single wind turbine are presented.

A new analytical model for wind-turbine wakes
Renewable Energy, 2014A new analytical wake model is proposed and validated to predict the wind velocity distribution downwind of a wind turbine. The model is derived by applying conservation of mass and momentum and assuming a Gaussian distribution for the velocity deficit in the wake.
