Research on Transformer Winding Deformation and Winding Resistance
In this paper, the influence of transformer winding deformation on the equivalent electrical parameters is studied, and the proximity effect and skin effect caused by AC current in the wire are simulated. It is verified that the current distribution will be affected by the proximity effect and skin effect.

Non-associative Deformations of Geometry in Double Field Theory [PDF]
Non-geometric string backgrounds were proposed to be related to a non-associative deformation of the space-time geometry. In the flux formulation of double field theory (DFT), the structure of mathematically possible non-associative deformations is ...

Wind-induced deformations in a segmented mirror [PDF]
A Zernike expansion of wind-induced deformations in a segmented mirror is described. The wind model is a frozen turbulent field with a Kolmogorov spectrum for scales smaller than the outer scale and a flat spectrum for scales larger than the outer scale.

Topological singularities and the general classification of Floquet-Bloch systems [PDF]
Recent works have demonstrated that the Floquet-Bloch bands of periodically-driven systems feature a richer topological structure than their non-driven counterparts.

Spinning strings in the $\eta$-deformed Neumann-Rosochatius system [PDF]
The sigma-model of closed strings spinning in the $\eta$-deformation of $AdS_{5} \times S^{5}$ leads to an integrable deformation of the one-dimensional Neumann-Rosochatius mechanical system.

Simulation and Control of Deformable Autonomous Airships in Turbulent Wind
AbstractFixed wing and multirotor UAVs are common in the field of robotics. Solutions for simulation and control of these vehicles are ubiquitous. This is not the case for airships, a simulation of which needs to address unique properties, i) dynamic deformation in response to aerodynamic and control forces, ii) high susceptibility to wind and ...
