Sinus lifting dengan teknik lateral window dan transalveolar osteotomy Lateral window and transalveolar osteotomy sinus lifting technique

open access: yes, 2011
The insertion of dental implants in atrophy maxilla is a complicated issue because no bone support due to expansionof maxillary sinus and atrophy of maxillary ridge alveolar. Surgery by sinus lifting with autogenous bonetransplantation has been proven to

Avidin is evolutionarily conserved in fish but dispensable for development and resistance against Streptococcus agalactiae in zebrafish

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The presence of biotin‐binding avidin proteins in fish and their biological significance are poorly characterized. We cataloged fish avidins and demonstrate that they are widely present and evolutionarily conserved. We created avd knockout zebrafish and show that zebavidin is dispensable for development and that resistance of avd knockout embryos in ...

BCG vaccination potentiates oxidative phosphorylation in neonatal myeloid‐derived suppressor cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
BCG vaccination enhances oxidative phosphorylation in neonatal MDSCs, impairing their immunosuppressive function. It upregulates electron transport chain genes and mitochondrial activity, increasing ATP and oxygen consumption. Pharmacological OXPHOS inhibition partially restores suppressive capacity, confirming causality.

Dactolisib outperforms Rapamycin in potentiating apoptosis induced by XPO1, Bcl‐2 and Mcl‐1 blockade in preclinical glioblastoma models

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The PAM pathway and its impact on cellular metabolism. Color‐coded key symbols represent Rapamycin (R, orange, targeting mTOR) and Dactolisib (D, green, targeting PI3K/mTOR), indicating their sites of action. Created with BioRenders.com. Glioblastoma resists therapy through interconnected survival programs.

Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

A Novel Word Clustering and Cluster Merging Technique for Named Entity Recognition

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Systems, 2019
In this paper, we present a novel word clustering technique to capture contextual similarity among the words. Related word clustering techniques in the literature rely on the statistics of the words collected from a fixed and small word window.
