“Bone Window - 3D-Printed Guide” Technique Aided Endodontic Microsurgery

open access: yesInternational Dental Journal
Introduction: In the case with substantial periapical lesion and intact buccal cortical bone, when conducting a “Bone Window” technique aided Endodontic Microsurgery (EMS), the 3D-printed surgical guide can facilitate bone window precisely locating and ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Infrared Reflectance Kramers--Kronig Analysis by Anchor-Window Technique [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
An algorithm for the Kramers-Kronig analysis of the reflectivity spectra, based on an anchor-window technique is presented. The high-frequency asymptote, required for the Kramers-Kronig analysis, is determined by minimizing differences between the ...

Design and calculation of a MPD model with constant bottom hole pressure

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2011
Bottom hole pressure can be maintained in a reasonable range by using the managed pressure drilling (MPD) technique with special equipment. A calculation model is established for the back pressure and drilling fluid density of constant bottom hole ...

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Design Window Search Based on AI Technique. [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Nuclear Science and Technology, 1992
The design process of a new reactor consists of broad technical areas. The work of each area may be carried out independently to achieve design target or to satisfy design criteria. The decisions made in one area will affect the design basis in most other area. The design process is thus iteratively performed.

Microbiome‐blood–brain barrier interactions in aging — mechanisms and therapeutic potential

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Aging reshapes the gut microbiome (↓SCFA‐producing commensals; ↑pro‐inflammatory outputs), shifting circulating metabolites (↓SCFAs; ↑LPS, ↑TMAO, ↑PAA) that act at the BBB to increase nonspecific transcytosis, alter transport, and promote astrocyte reactivity, heightening brain vulnerability.

On the interpolation of high-frequency gravity field signals in mountainous areas

open access: yesContributions to Geophysics and Geodesy, 2013
The paper presents a comparison among different techniques in interpolating high-frequency gravity field signals in mountainous areas. A gap of 1◦ ×1◦ has been artificially created within the free-air gravity anomalies data set for Austria.

Structure‐forward targeting of claudins with synthetic binders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Claudins form the paracellular barriers between epithelial and endothelial tissues at tight junctions and are targets for molecular binders with the goal of modulating barrier permeability. Claudin‐binding molecules are relevant in drug delivery or in altering claudin interactions with disease‐causing proteins.
