Workflow for Design of Experiments‐Based Modeling of Species Transport and Growth Kinetics in GaN Hydride Vapor Phase Epitaxy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A novel workflow for investigating hydride vapor phase epitaxy for GaN bulk crystal growth is proposed. It combines Design of experiments (DoE) with physical simulations of mass transport and crystal growth kinetics, serving as an intermediate step between DoE and experiments.

Fast computation of the sliding-window Radon transform with application to attribute extraction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Conference PaperWe have developed a fast and robust algorithm for the extraction of 3-D seismic attributes. The algorithm is based on the recursive computation of the 3-D sliding-window Radon transform.

Respiratory Rate Sensing for a Non-Stationary Human Assisted by Motion Detection

open access: yesSensors
Non-contact human respiration rate monitoring can be used for sleep apnea detection and home care. Typically, the human body does not remain stationary for long periods, and body movement can significantly affect the performance of non-contact ...

Ontology‐Aligned Structuring and Reuse of Multimodal Materials Data and Workflows Toward Automatic Reproduction

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Reproduction of stacking fault energy calculations from literature with a semi‐automated large language model‐assisted extraction procedure: extraction of simulation protocol, atomistic structures, computational parameters, and reported results, ontology alignment, knowledge graph construction and, finally, recomputation forvalidation.

Implementación en Sistemas Embebidos de la Transformada Discreta de Hartley

open access: yesTecnoLógicas, 2010
Orthogonal transformations have been very useful in the characterization and signal processing. In particular Hartley Transform allows for time-frequency representations and vice versa.

Molecular Dynamics Studies of Shape Memory Polymers: From Bead–Spring Models to Atomistic Simulations

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Direct Optimal Mapping Image Power Spectrum and its Window Functions

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The key to detecting neutral hydrogen during the epoch of reionization (EoR) is to separate the cosmological signal from the dominating foreground radiation.
