Numerical animation of the flow over the upper surface of a butterfly's wing

1996
The objective of this study is to present an animation of numerical simulations performed on a two-dimensional model representing the cavities found on the upper surface of a typical butterfly wing. Numerical results were obtained using a mixed Eulerian-Lagrangian vortex method.
