Life Under the Snow: Camera Trap Videos Capture Year‐Round Lemming Activity and Behavior
We developed an automated camera system capable of recording year‐round videos of lemmings beneath the snow in the High Arctic. We demonstrate the potential of this system to document lemming activity and behaviors. Our results show that it effectively monitors lemming relative abundance with temporal precision unmatched by other methods.
