Effects of sowing date and vernalisation on the growth of winter barley and its resistance to powdery mildew (Erysiphe graminis f.sp. hordei) [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Detailed studies on the production of individual leaves, and the development of powdery mildew on them, were made in field plots of winter barley sown on different dates.

Іnfluence of multicomponent growth regulators on winter resistance forming and productivity of winter wheat.

open access: yesThe Scientific Journal Grain Crops, 2020
The growth of gross grain may be obtained only with growth of agrotechnical methods. Therefore there is a need for further investigation of the complex influence of the main technical means on plant growth and development. It is necessary to define an influence of multicomponent drugs on the wheat win- ter resistance and productivity.

Influence of the winter rape hybrids rosette development on its productivity and winter resistance

open access: yesFeeds and Feed Production, 2020
Purpose. In order to accelerate the breeding process for the creation of competitive domestic varieties and hybrids of winter rape, a research on the influence of the size of the rosette of plants in autumn on winter hardiness and productivity for early detection of promising winter rape hybrids based on cytoplasmic male sterility was conducted ...

Variable resistance patterns of integron-associated multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii isolates in a surgical intensive care unit [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
[[abstract]]Between 1998 and 2000, we characterized 91 nosocomial isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii by antibiotyping and genotyping. A total of 25 ribotypes were obtained among these 91 isolates.

Skid Resistance of the Sidewalks in Winter

open access: yesJournal of the Korean Society of Road Engineers, 2013
PURPOSES : This study aimed to measure the skid resistance of the sidewalk in order to find out the relationship between different surface types and skid resistance. By using British Pendulum Tester, skid resistance of sidewalk was measured in a wet after snow-melt, sludgy, and snowy conditions.

Programmable 3D Photovoltaics via Mechanically Origami‐Coded Interlocked 3D Kirigami and Nano‐Root Anchored AgNWs–In–Ga Multiphasic Alloy Conductor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Mechanically origami‐coded 3D kirigami photovoltaics convert a single extension–release cycle into deterministic self‐folding, reconfiguring planar solar cells into programmable 3D modules. Distinct coding strategies enable either ultrahigh stretchability (500% system strain) or ultrahigh initial effective areal coverage (225%).

Grain Oats—An Alternative Winter Cereal for the Australian Sub-Tropics? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Current production of oats for grain in Queensland is minor due to unsuitable varieties bred for different climates, and high disease pressure from leaf and stem rust late in the growing season.

Seedling Resistance to Stagonospora nodorum Blotch in Wheat Genotypes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In two independent experiments set up in the greenhouse the seedling resistance to Stagonospora nodorum blotch was investigated in 92 varieties, breeding lines and genotypes with a known genetic background.

The usefulness of fungicide mixtures and alternation for delaying the selection for resistance in populations of Mycosphaerella graminicola on winter wheat: a modeling analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A fungicide resistance model (reported and tested previously) was amended to describe the development of resistance in Mycosphaerella graminicola populations in winter wheat (Triticum aestivum) crops in two sets of fields, connected by spore dispersal ...

Lead Halide Perovskite Photoelectrocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Lead halide perovskite semiconductors have emerged as highly promising materials for solar fuel and chemical synthesis. This perspective discusses advances made in the rational photoelectrode design to improve solar‐to‐chemical conversion, product scope, and scalability.
