Sleep and circadian temperature rhythms in winter depression

Winter depression as associated with a phase-delay of the temperature rhythm in a constant routine is discussed. Bright morning light treats the depression and phase-advances the temperature rhythm. There is a need for a small inexpensive temperature monitoring device to diagnose and treat circadian rhythm problems.

Thermal environment and sleep in winter shelter-analogue settings

We aimed to examine sleep in shelter-analogue settings in winter to determine the sleep and environmental conditions in evacuation shelters. Twelve young healthy students took part in the sleep study of two nights for seven hours from 0 AM to 7 AM in a gymnasium.
