We study the effects of heat and high temperature shocks on inflation in Australia using monthly, state‐level temperature anomaly data via two stages. Temporal Responses to Warming: Do Wild Herbivores Trade Off Heat, Predators, and Humans?

We untangled how summer temperature, predators, and humans influenced behavioral responses in two deer species. Both reduced their daily activity level in response to warming, yet only roe deer increased nocturnality to avoid heat. Conversely, fallow deer traded off heat avoidance with predator avoidance.

Fishing Activity Affected Odontocete Cetacean Distribution in a Marine Protected Area in the East China Sea

Spatiotemporal distribution of odontocete cetaceans within China's Jiushan Archipelago National Nature Reserve was investigated. Fishing vessels significantly reduced both cetacean acoustic detections and feeding activity, whereas gillnets selectively suppressed cetacean feeding behavior without affecting overall cetacean detection rates.
