Process planning for robotic wire and arc additive manufacturing
2015 IEEE 10th Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA), 2015This study presents a process planning system, which directly generates manufacturing code from CAD models for robotic wire and arc additive manufacturing (WAAM). A variety of modules are developed for this system with special considerations on slicing and path planning.

Wire and Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) – A New Advance in Manufacturing
2018Additive Manufacturing (AM) is a technique where structures are produced by adding and depositing material in a layer upon layer manner. WAAM (Wire and Arc Additive Manufacturing) is a technology which has been investigated in last 30 years, although the first patent dates from almost 100 years ago.

Bead formation during wire and arc additive manufacturing
An experimental study of the formation of beads during the Wire and Arc Additive was carried out. The experiments were carried out in the low energy range of the welding arc. The influence of the wire feeding rate and traverse speed, their ratio and the heat input on the width and height of the resulting layers was monitored.Tongov, Manahil +3 more
