Nanoscale Thermal Transport in Bi2(Te, Se)3 Thermoelectric Material Using Pulsed STEM
The pulsed‐STEM technique enables simultaneous acquisition of crystallographic, compositional, and thermal transport information within a single experiment. In anisotropic Bi2(Te, Se)3, phase‐delay imaging visualizes directional heat flow and interfacial resistance at the nanoscale, offering a new approach to understanding and designing thermoelectric ...

Single crater dimensions and wire diameter influence on Wire-EDM
In Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) the erosion process is based on the superposition of craters. The plasma channel and the craters’ shape have an impact on the process and on the characteristics of the machined surface. This impact goes from the cutting speed to the surface roughness passing through workpiece temperature gradient during the

ABSTRACT Machining of materials is an invaluable technique to give specific shapes and dimensions of desired materials. Different machining processes give rise to different surface characteristics that include not only surface roughness but also specific surface morphology, such as the recast layer.
