Wire mesh foundation for methyl methacrylate cranioplasty
The Laryngoscope, 1974AbstractAlloplastic materials have essentially replaced metal plates for frontal cranioplasty. Methyl methacrylate (Cranioplast, acrylic, etc.) is the most widely used of the plastic materials. Despite its many advantages, this plastic implant is vulnerable to trauma, with resulting fragmentation, and in certain cases, brain injury.

Design of complex wire‐mesh mist eliminators
AIChE Journal, 2000AbstractKnitted wire‐mesh mist eliminators have widespread application in many industrial plants. Despite their extensive use, the open literature regarding them is really limited. Some experimental data and mechanistic models have been published for common knitted wire‐mesh mist eliminators formed from a single metal pad.

Wire Mesh Floor Heating Systems
IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 1978The use of wire mesh floor heating systems to store heat developed from low-cost electrical energy during off-peak hours was investigated for large resource industries. These systems have the double function of heating and reinforcing. As current increases in the steel magnetic wire, resistance decreases due to skin effect. Current follows the shortest
