Capacity of Ad Hoc wireless networks [PDF]
Early simulation experience with wireless ad hoc networks suggests that their capacity can be surprisingly low, due to the requirement that nodes forward each others' packets. The achievable capacity depends on network size, traffic patterns, and detailed local radio interactions.

An Energy-Aware On-Demand Routing Protocol for Ad-Hoc Wireless Networks [PDF]
An ad-hoc wireless network is a collection of nodes that come together to dynamically create a network, with no fixed infrastructure or centralized administration. An ad-hoc network is characterized by energy constrained nodes, bandwidth constrained links and dynamic topology.

Chinese Development Finance and African Policy Space: Towards Productive Incoherence?
ABSTRACT How does Chinese Development Finance influence perceptions of policy space across Sub‐Saharan Africa? This paper employs Grabel's concept of ‘productive incoherence’ to both describe the ‘new development finance landscape’ and to explore its implications for recipient‐country policy space.

Mobile ad hoc wireless networks
As the name “ad hoc” indicates, an ad hoc network is a wireless network designed to satisfy a “special purpose” application, often of short duration. An ad hoc network must be deployed rapidly and is frequently reconfigured to adjust to changes. The temporary nature and the high rate of change set the ad hoc network apart from other more permanent ...

The Limits of Motion Prediction Support for Ad hoc Wireless Network Performance [PDF]
A fundamental understanding of gain provided by motion prediction in wireless ad hoc routing is currently lacking. This paper examines benefits in routing obtainable via prediction. A theoretical best-case non-predictive routing model is quantified in terms of both message overhead and update time for non-predictive routing.

Abstract Overexploitation of wildlife is pervasive in many tropical regions, and in addition to being a significant conservation and sustainability concern, it has received global attention given discussions over the origins of zoonotic disease outbreaks.

A Middleware Framework between Mobility and IoT Using IEEE 802.15.4e Sensor Networks
In this paper, we propose a mobility framework for connecting the physical things in wireless ad hoc sensor networks. Our area of study is the internet of things by using an ad hoc sensor network.

A Full Image of the Wormhole Attacks - Towards Introducing Complex Wormhole Attacks in wireless Ad Hoc Networks [PDF]
The paper analyzes wormhole attack modes and classes and point to its threat impacts on ad hoc networks. New improvements are suggested to these types of attacks.
