Endoscopic‐Assisted Transcervical Excision of Second Branchial Cleft Anomalies in Young Children
We describe an endoscopic‐assisted transcervical technique for excision of second branchial cleft anomalies in young children. In three cases (ages 2–8), this approach allowed safe identification and ligation of the tracts while providing improved visualization and allowing smaller incisions.

In Vivo Characterization of a Wireless Telemetry Module for a Capsule Endoscopy System Utilizing a Conformal Antenna [PDF]
This paper describes the design, fabrication, packaging, and performance characterization of a conformal helix antenna created on the outside of a 10 mm ×30 mm capsule endoscope designed to operate at a carrier frequency of 433 MHz within human tissue ...

We systematically summarize how each scale dictates fundamental choices in design feature, manufacturing technology, driving mechanism, and control strategy, which are inherently governed by scale‐dominated physical principles. Furthermore, the application of scale‐determined operation modes of microrobots across different stages of medical ...

A Prototype Design of a Wireless Capsule Endoscope
Diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, such as intestinal bleeding and ulceration, are very common. To determine the location of the disease, as well as to diagnose the problem, endoscopy is performed. A wireless capsule endoscope is a pill-sized device

Superpixel Based Segmentation and Classification of Polyps in Wireless Capsule Endoscopy
Wireless Capsule Endoscopy (WCE) is a relatively new technology to record the entire GI trace, in vivo. The large amounts of frames captured during an examination cause difficulties for physicians to review all these frames.

A System-on-Chip solution for a low power active capsule endoscope with therapeutic capabilities for clip application in the gastrointestinal tract [PDF]
This paper addresses the circuit implementation challenges resulting from the integration of a therapeutic clip in a magnetically maneuverable wireless capsule intended for colonoscopy. To deal with the size constraints typical of a capsule endoscope, an
