MagPiezo: A Magnetogenetic Platform for Remote Activation of Endogenous Piezo1 Channels in Endothelial Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MagPiezo enables wireless activation of endogenous Piezo1 channels without genetic modification using 19 nm magnetic nanoparticles and low‐intensity magnetic fields. It generates torque forces at the piconewton scale to trigger mechanotransduction in endothelial cells, standing as a novel platform to interrogate and manipulate Piezo1 activity in vitro.

On differential privacy for federated learning in wireless systems with multiple base stations

open access: yesIET Communications
In this work, we consider a federated learning model in a wireless system with multiple base stations and inter‐cell interference. We apply a differentially private scheme to transmit information from users to their corresponding base station during the ...

Semantic and Technical Noise Modeling in Semantic Image Communication Over Wireless Channels

open access: yesIEEE Access
As wireless networks approach their Shannon capacity limit amid exponentially increasing data demands, semantic communication, which transmits the meaning of data rather than its exact form, has emerged as a compelling alternative.

Distributed Joint Source-Channel Coding in Wireless Sensor Networks

open access: yesSensors, 2009
Considering the fact that sensors are energy-limited and the wireless channel conditions in wireless sensor networks, there is an urgent need for a low-complexity coding method with high compression ratio and noise-resisted features.

Self‐Sintering Ionogel Binder for Flexible, Recyclable, and Healable Printed Giant Magnetoresistive Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Electronic waste has emerged as a major environmental challenge, driven by the massive consumption and a limited lifetime of modern electronic devices, stimulating the development of sustainable electronics. Here, an all‐biomaterial gelatin‐choline‐citric acid ([Ch][CA]) ionogel is developed as an active binder to realize self‐sintered ...
