Neural Network-Based Bandit: A Medium Access Control for the IIoT Alarm Scenario
Efficient Random Access (RA) is critical for enabling reliable communication in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) networks. Herein, we propose a deep reinforcement learning-based distributed RA scheme, entitled Neural Network-Based Bandit (NNBB), for ...

This work reveals a “Photovoltaic‐Capacitance” coupling mechanism in stacked Ga2O3/ZnO devices, defining the ZnO/graphene interface as a novel Photovoltaic Dynamic‐Capacitor (PDC). The wavelength‐selective bipolar response enables a physical layer secure communication protocol based on ternary optical logic (“1,” “0,” “−1”).

A Novel Multilevel Conceptual Framework for Flood Risk Governance
ABSTRACT Globally, flood risk is increasing as climate change progresses. Contemporary flood risk management practice often utilises hydrodynamic modelling (for hazard risk assessments), social vulnerability assessments, and risk communications in silo, which fragments evidence‐based decision‐making for effective flood risk management. We hence develop

Distributionally Robust Federated Learning With Client Drift Minimization
Federated learning (FL) faces critical challenges, particularly in heterogeneous environments where non-independent and identically distributed (non-IID) data across clients can lead to unfair and inefficient model performance. We introduce DRDM, a novel
