Wireless Powered Relaying for Multiuser Transmission

2017 IEEE Globecom Workshops (GC Wkshps), 2017
This paper studies a relay-assisted wireless powered communication network (R-WPCN) consisting of multiple source-destination pairs and a hybrid relay node (HRN). We consider a "charge-then-forward" protocol at the HRN, in which the HRN with constant energy supply first acts as an energy transmitter to charge the sources, and then forwards the ...

Advancements in electrodynamic wireless power transmission

2016 IEEE SENSORS, 2016
This article summarizes recent advancements in near-field electrodynamic wireless power transmission (EWPT), which relies on a time-varying magnetic field produced by a transmitter to excite the mechanical motion of permanent magnet in the receiver. The mechanical energy absorbed by the magnet is then converted into electrical energy via one or more ...

Wireless power transmission in endoscopy capsules

Biomedical Engineering / Biomedizinische Technik, 2019
Abstract The operating life of endoscopy capsules is limited by the batteries needed for use. The capacity of corresponding batteries, however, is too short to cover the total period of gastrointestinal transit. To overcome this limitation, a novel kind of wireless power transmission was used.

Rectenna for Wireless Power Transmission

2020
Rectenna (rectifying antenna) is designed for better conversion efficiency. The obtained efficiency is 57.8%. The return loss obtained is −25.043 dB. The working characteristics of the rectenna are determined by the characteristic curves which depend on the input power. The power varies from −20 to 20 dBm.
