Performance evaluation of routing protocols in live video streaming over wireless mesh networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In recent years, live video streaming over Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) has been of great interest among users. However, node mobility, interferences and competition for the available resources are some important factors, to name a few, which can ...

Orthogonal Rendezvous Routing Protocol for Wireless Mesh Networks [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2006 IEEE International Conference on Network Protocols, 2006
Routing in multi-hop wireless networks involves the indirection from a persistent name (or ID) to a locator. Concepts such as coordinate space embedding help reduce the number and dynamism complexity of bindings and state needed for this indirection. Routing protocols which do not use such concepts often tend to flood packets during route discovery or ...

Affinity‐Tuned Albumin Hitchhiking Extends the Bioorthogonal Capture Window in Pretargeting Radiotheranostics

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Pharmacokinetic engineering of clickable radioligands was achieved via albumin hitchhiking approach within a pretargeted radiotheranostics delivery platform. This approach reduced rapid renal elimination, expanded bioorthogonal capture window, boosted tumor uptake by ∼3.5‐fold, and improved the tumor‐to‐liver ratio by ∼6‐fold.

LBR: Load balancing routing algorithm for wireless sensor networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Homogeneous wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are organized using identical sensor nodes, but the nature of WSNs operations results in an imbalanced workload on gateway sensor nodes which may lead to a hot-spot or routing hole problem.

Performance Evaluation of Spatial Vector Routing Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks [PDF]

open access: yesMehran University Research Journal of Engineering and Technology, 2012
WSNs (Wireless Sensor Networks) is an emerging area of research. Researchers worldwide are working on the issues faced by sensor nodes. Communication has been a major issue in wireless networks and the problem is manifolds in WSNs because of the ...

A Hybrid Routing Protocol for Wireless Distributed Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Trends in networking are shifting from distributed to logically centralized networks. Software defined networking (SDN) is the key technology behind this shift. This new paradigm not only proves the ease of network management in wired networks but also results into graceful evolution of networking protocols.

Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

Reliable load-balancing routing algorithm for wireless sensor networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The most critical routing-related issue of wireless sensor network (WSNs) is the quality of the underlying links. While most routing protocols are formulated in a graphtheoretical manner, it is often by no means clear which sensor nodes are connected by ...
