Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing
Advanced Materials, EarlyView.Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Pulsed DC Sputter Deposition of Stable Turbostratic Boron Nitride Thin Films
Advanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.Boron nitride (BN) films are deposited by sputtering from a boron target. During deposition, a substrate bias voltage is applied between the plasma and the sample, which reduces excess boron in the film and enhances the crystallinity. This process prevents the formation of boric acid and ammonium borate hydrate.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.It is currently not well understood how cells regulate basic properties, e.g., volume and mechanics within dense multicellular environments like tumors. Here, we show that different cell types of cancer and also normal cells largely decrease their nuclear and cellular volumes in emerging cell clusters and that this is partly driven by cell cycle shifts.
