Trace formula for Witt vector rings
We commence by giving a generalisation of Pulita exponential series. We then use these series to establish an analog of the trace formula for Witt vector rings.

Overconvergent de Rham-Witt cohomology [PDF]
Copyright © 2011 Société mathématique de FranceThe goal of this work is to construct, for a smooth variety X over a perfect field k of finite characteristic p > 0, an overconvergent de Rham-Witt complex WyX=k as a suitable sub-complex of the de Rham-Witt

Balancing High Densities and Conservation Targets to Optimise Koala Management Strategies
The koala population in South Australia's Mount Lofty Ranges is increasing, raising concerns about overbrowsing and the need for sustainable management. Using combined demographic, point‐process, and species distribution models, we projected koala populations over 25 years to evaluate fertility‐control strategies.

A multinomial identity for Witt vectors
In [Adv. Math. 70, 87-132 (1988; Zbl 0691.13026)] the authors developed connections between Witt vectors and Burnside rings. Using this they give a simple combinatorial proof of a multinomial identity for Witt vectors, which was originally discovered by H. Gaudier in the special case of the universal Witt vectors.

Disordered N‐termini enhance the thermostability of SGNH‐hydrolase family polyesterases
Abstract Polyesters are widely used plastics that persist in the environment due to their resistance to degradation. Microbial polyesterases potentially offer recycling and remediation solutions. However, most polyesterases lack the thermostability and catalytic efficiency required for practical application.

Generalizing Witt vector construction
The purpose of this this paper is to generalize the functors arising from the theory of Witt vectors duto to Cartier. Given a polynomial $g(q)\in \mathbb Z[q]$, we construct a functor ${\overline {W}}^{g(q)}$ from the category of $\mathbb Z[q]$-algebras to that of commutative rings.

ABSTRACT We study a random walk on the Lie algebra sl2(Fp)$$ {\mathfrak{sl}}_2\left({\mathbf{F}}_p\right) $$ where new elements are produced by randomly applying adjoint operators of two generators. Focusing on the generic case where the generators are selected at random, we analyze the limiting distribution of the random walk and the speed at which it
