Smart Wearable Ozone Therapy System for Managing Multidrug‐Resistant Wound Infections

open access: yesAdvanced Therapeutics, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2026.
A smart wearable ozone therapy system enables precise localized ozone delivery directly to the wound bed through integrated ozone generation, real‐time sensing, and controlled air circulation. Controlled ozone exposure disrupts bacterial membranes, enhances antibiotic accessibility, and supports a clinically translatable strategy for managing multidrug‐

Tendon‐Driven Compliant Wheel‐Less Snake Robot for Undulatory Locomotion Using Conformable Ground Contacts

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2026.
This study presents a tendon‐driven compliant snake robot that uses globally applied vertical bending and axial twisting along its body to enable various gaits. Body deflection from compliance and weight passively generates the ground contact patterns required for locomotion.

Social Determinants of Diabetes‐Related Foot Ulcer Healing and Amputation in Australia: A Systematic Review

open access: yesJournal of Foot and Ankle Research, Volume 19, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction In Australia, approximately 50,000 people suffer from diabetes‐related foot ulcers (DFU) with another 300,000 people at risk each year. Evidence suggests that social determinants of health may impact DFU outcomes; however, systematic evaluation of studies is lacking.

Prevalence and Incidence of Diabetes‐Related Peripheral Neuropathy, Peripheral Artery Disease, Foot Ulcers and Lower Extremity Amputations in Ireland; A Systematic Review

open access: yesJournal of Foot and Ankle Research, Volume 19, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Diabetes‐related foot disease is a leading cause of global disease burden, however the prevalence and incidence of diabetes‐related foot disease in Ireland is poorly understood. Up‐to‐date population‐level estimates of the incidence and prevalence are imperative to support appropriate health service planning.

From “Mirror Flower, Water Moon” to Multi‐Task Visual Prospective Representation Learning for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Indoor Mapless Navigation

open access: yesJournal of Field Robotics, Volume 43, Issue 2, Page 655-680, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Vision‐based deep learning models have been widely adopted in autonomous agents, such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), particularly in reactive control policies that serve as a key component of navigation systems. These policies enable agents to respond instantaneously to dynamic environments without relying on pre‐existing maps.

A Novel In Situ Experimental Setup for Studying the Impact of Bedform Celerity on 2D Oxygen Distribution in the Hyporheic Zone of Streams

open access: yesWater Resources Research, Volume 62, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Hydrodynamic and morphodynamic forces interacting across the sediment‐water interface control the biogeochemistry in the hyporheic zone. When investigating the redox zonation within streambeds, dissolved oxygen (O2) is considered a key solute to the understanding of river ecosystems.
