Bridging Symbolic Computation and Economics: A Dynamic and Interactive Tool to Analyze the Price Elasticity of Supply

open access: yesMathematical and Computational Applications, 2019
It is not possible to achieve the objectives and skills of a program in economics, at the secondary and undergraduate levels, without resorting to graphic illustrations.

Machine‐Learning‐Assisted Onset‐Time Determination in Transient Luminescence Thermometry

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Artificial neural networks enable autonomous extraction of onset times from transient heating curves in luminescence thermometry. Using Ln3+‐doped upconverting nanoparticles as luminescent thermometers, we combine experimental transients with physically motivated synthetic curves to enhance data diversity and improve generalization.

Soil Loosening of Compacted Urban Tree Sites Using a Pneumatic Lance Injector: Quantifying Treatment Success Through Tree Morphology and Soil Structure Parameters via Terrestrial Laser Scanning

open access: yesJournal of Plant Nutrition and Soil Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Urban trees provide essential ecosystem services, but their growth and longevity are often limited by soil compaction. Although pneumatic lance injection (PLI) is increasingly promoted as a minimally invasive and efficient soil loosening technique, but robust scientific evidence for its long‐term effectiveness remains limited.

On Some Complex Aspects of the (2+1)-dimensional Broer-Kaup-Kupershmidt System

open access: yesITM Web of Conferences, 2017
The improved Bernoulli sub-equation function method is used in extracting some new exponential function solutions to the (2+1)-dimensional Broer-Kaup-Kupershmidt system. It is of vital effort to look for more solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional Broer-Kaup-

Extending the hyper‐logistic model to the random setting: New theoretical results with real‐world applications

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
We develop a full randomization of the classical hyper‐logistic growth model by obtaining closed‐form expressions for relevant quantities of interest, such as the first probability density function of its solution, the time until a given fixed population is reached, and the population at the inflection point.

Symbolic computation of optimal systems of subalgebras of three- and four-dimensional real Lie algebras [PDF]

open access: yesOpen Communications in Nonlinear Mathematical Physics
The complete optimal systems of subalgebras of all nonisomorphic three- and four-dimensional real Lie algebras are analyzed by the program \symbolie running in the computer algebra system \emph{Wolfram Mathematica}\texttrademark.

Evolutionary dynamics of solitary wave profiles and abundant analytical solutions to a (3+1)-dimensional burgers system in ocean physics and hydrodynamics

open access: yesJournal of Ocean Engineering and Science, 2023
In the fields of oceanography, hydrodynamics, and marine engineering, many mathematicians and physicists are interested in Burgers-type equations to show the different dynamics of nonlinear wave phenomena, one of which is a (3+1)-dimensional Burgers ...

Self‐Similar Blowup for the Cubic Schrödinger Equation

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 8, Page 1831-1918, August 2026.
ABSTRACT We give a rigorous proof for the existence of a finite‐energy, self‐similar solution to the focusing cubic Schrödinger equation in three spatial dimensions. The proof is computer‐assisted and relies on a fixed point argument that shows the existence of a solution in the vicinity of a numerically constructed approximation.

Tools for the analysis and visualisation of distributions and vector fields in surface forest fires modelling

open access: yesЖурнал Белорусского государственного университета: Математика, информатика, 2022
The problem of computer modelling of the spread of surface forest fires in a two-dimensional formulation is herein considered. We describe the initial-boundary value problem in the form of a system of partial differential equations in the accepted ...

Mathematical Analysis and Simulations of a Cancer Model With Interleukins and Delayed Immunotherapy

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 12, Page 13946-13970, August 2026.
ABSTRACT A new system of delayed differential equations for tumor‐immune system interactions is proposed and studied. The system describes the interactions between tumor cells and the immune system at the most aggressive phase of cancer, where tumor cells have developed mechanisms from earlier stages to evade immune responses.
