Structural Variations across Wolframite Solid Solutions, (Fe,Mn)WO4

open access: yes, 2021
The crystal structure of four samples from natural wolframite solid solutions, (Fe,Mn)WO4, was obtained with synchrotron high-resolution powder X-ray diffraction (HRPXRD) data, Rietveld refinements, space group P2/c, and Z = 2. Wolframite solid solutions

MINERAL FORMS OF TUNGSTEN AT THE POROKHOVSKOE AND YUGO-KONEVSKOE DEPOSITS (SOUTH URALS) [PDF]

open access: yesМинералогия
The ore hand specimens and technological ore samples from the Porokhovskoe and Yugo-Konevskoe W greisen deposits in the South Urals are studied. The major W minerals of primary ores at both deposits include hübnerite and scheelite.

On the Spinodal Decomposition of Wolframite

open access: yesZeitschrift für Naturforschung A, 1985
Investigations by transmission electronmicroscopy (TEM) of hydrothermally treated wolframites at 200 °C and 1 kbar exhibit in contrast to untreated samples spinodal decomposition. The scales of modulation for those wolframites are given (λ = 65 - 250 Å). Alongside TEM-investigations, diffraction patterns were determined.

Magnetic nature of wolframite MgReO4

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2023
Abstract Rhenium oxides belonging to the family AReO4 where A is a metal cation, exhibit interesting electronic and magnetic properties. In this study we have utilized the muon spin rotation/relaxation (µ +SR) technique to study the magnetic properties of the MgReO4 compound.

A study of the separation of wolframite from tin-oxide [PDF]

open access: yes, 1948
A number of mines in china, Bolivia, England, and other countries contain both tin-oxide and wolframite. Owing to the fact that the specific gravity of tin-oxide and wolframite is so nearly the same, considerable difficulty is experienced in making a ...
