Transformation of Copper Salt by Wood Decaying Fungi
When effective preservation tests are performed using wood specimens to which Coriolellus palustris, one of the oxalic acid producing fungi, is cultured, it has often been found that decay is limited to a particular portion where tissue is completely destroyed to make a hole, in the case of the specimen treated with preservatives containing copper salt.

Structure of fungal community and culturable fungi on the discolored surfaces of pine storage boxes in the tropical region in Dong Nai, Vietnam [PDF]
Wood and wood-based materials are commonly used for storage, but their surfaces are prone to biodegradation by microorganisms, especially fungi. This study focuses on the microbial communities on pine wood storage boxes treated with an anti-termite and ...

WOOD DECAY FUNGI IN THE ENVIRONMENT AND GREEN TECHNOLOGIES
Wood decay fungi (WDF) are a functional group of fungi that mainly includes the types Basidiomycota and Ascomycota. High exoenzymatic activity and osmotic nutrition of WDF are the basis for their use in green technologies. The aim of the work was to summarize scientific data on the potential of WDF in green technologies, including those implemented in ...
