Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.

Stem form and compression wood formation in young Pinus radiata trees
The crooked stems of some individuals of radiata pine (Pinus radiata D. Don) can hinder volume recovery and wood quality. To infer causes of crookedness and to learn how angle affects compression wood (CW) formation we studied 4+1-year old trees in ...

Chip formation in circular sawing of frozen and non-frozen wood
Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää eri parametrien vaikutusta lastunmuodostukseen pyörösahattaessa jäätynyttä ja sulaa puuta. Tutkimuksessa vertailtiin erityisesti jäätyneen ja sulan puun eroja sahauksen kannalta.
