Note of Human Remains in Wooden Coffins, found in the East Links of Leith

Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland
The author describes the thirteen coffins unearthed on Leith Links. Based on the style of these coffins and the way that the remains were arranged, he suggests that these may have been victims of the 1645-46 Plague outbreak.
