Proceedings of 1994 IEEE Workshop on Applications of Computer Vision, 2002This paper concerns the use of computer vision techniques for distinguishing finished wooden components in a manufacturing environment. The components are kitchen cabinet doors, which are produced in many different shapes and sizes. We have developed a system which can classify doors quickly and reliably as they travel on a conveyor.
