Microscopic Analysis of Iron Mineralised Wool from Iron Age in Northern Balkans

Three flat‐plate collectors with spiral and square coiled riser tubes were tested and it was found that the spiral type provides the best results with a thermal efficiency of 66.98% for a mass flow rate of 0.4 kg/min. Riser tube geometry is a key factor in optimizing flat‐plate collector output.
