Neologisms in present-day german: investigation into productivity of word formation types
The urgency of this paper is determined by a lack of research into the influence of the English language on modern word-building of the German language in the context of the study of lexical innovations. The purpose of this study is to provide a linguistic analysis and a detailed description of the word-building models using words from the corpus of ...

Slight Truncation Changes in Iron Oxide Nanocubes Strongly Affect Their Magnetic Properties
Subtle variations in nanoparticle morphology can lead to significant changes in functional properties. An automated shape‐fitting method captures minor differences in corner truncation between iron oxide nanocubes of similar sizes synthesized under identical conditions, revealing pronounced disparities in their magnetic and hyperthermia behavior ...

Morphological word structure in English and Swedish : the evidence from prosody [PDF]
Trubetzkoy's recognition of a delimitative function of phonology, serving to signal boundaries between morphological units, is expressed in terms of alignment constraints in Optimality Theory, where the relevant constraints require specific morphological

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

Actuating and Sensing Composites of Liquid Crystal Elastomers and Poly(ionic liquid)s
Ionic conductive, mechanically tough, flexible, and stretchable filaments of a composite material comprising a liquid crystal elastomer and a poly(ionic liquid) are produced through 3D printing, which exhibit large actuation strain under stimulation and electrical resistance variation in response to deformation or environmental condition changes. Their

Parallel 3D Bioprinting on SLIPS‐Microarrays
This work introduces the first truly parallel 3D bioprinting method, enabling both the simultaneous fabrication of hundreds of cell laden hydrogel 3D structures and their HTS in individual liquid compartments. By integrating Digital Light Processing (DLP) stereolithography with functional micropatterns, the platform decouples printing time from array ...

Univerbation: a method of Ukrainian word formation or a type of secondary nomination
Нistory of univerbation in Ukrainian linguistics in the context of European and Slavic linguistics is explored. The common tendency for them to use the term univerbation for the general designation of all methods of compression word formation based on analytical names is traced.
