This study examines the link between language abilities and Theory of Mind (ToM) development in individuals with Williams Syndrome (WS) and Down Syndrome (DS). We compared the results of 16 participants with WS, aged 6.3 to 27.2 years (Mean = 15.9 years,

„Са“. Група као догађај и као порекло догађаја. О саосећању као конститутивном елементу групе [PDF]
The complementarity of the terms “group” and “event” is not accomplished in the title Group as Event and Origin of Event. My intention is to describe this very relation, which vacillates between interaction and equivalency, and appears in the encounter ...

Central Extensions of Word Hyperbolic Groups [PDF]
Thurston has claimed (unpublished) that central extensions of word hyperbolic groups by finitely generated abelian groups are automatic. We show that they are in fact biautomatic. Further, we show that every 2-dimensional cohomology class on a word hyperbolic group can be represented by a bounded 2-cocycle. This lends weight to the claim of Gromov that

Word-of-Mouth Escalation Levels
A huge amount of marketing literature focuses on communication among customers about products, services, or providers, which is referred to as Word-of-mouth (WoM). However, only a small part of the literature discusses in which situations and between which individuals WoM occurs.

A spin group (SG)‐based mechanism is proposed to realize a single pair of Weyl points. PT‐symmetric nodal lines (NLs) persist under T‐breaking, protected by the combination of SG and P symmetry. When considering spin‐orbit coupling, the SG‐protected NL will split into Weyl points, which will also induce anomalous transport phenomena arising from ...

Synthetic cells are engineered herein to respond to an external chemical messenger by the activation of intracellular catalysis. The chemical messenger molecules are catalytically generated by an extracellular enzyme or a mineral surface, whereas the intracellular catalysis emerges via direct enzyme activation or via protein refolding.

Context-Freeness of Higman-Thompson group's co-word problem [PDF]
The co-word problem of a group G generated by a set X is defined as the set of words in X which do not represent 1 in G. We introduce a new method to decide if a permutation group has context-free co-word problem. We use this method to show, that the Higman-Thompson groups, and therefore the Houghton groups, have context-free co-word problem.

A series of ACHPES‐based hydrogels are developed and realizing multiple functions like anti‐fouling properties, alkali‐induced color/fluorescence‐changing ability and strain sensing. Furthermore, the hydrogels show excellent anti‐freezing performance, whose optical, mechanical and electrical properties remain stable at −47.3 °C.

Word Maps in Finite Simple Groups [PDF]
Elements of the free group define interesting maps, known as word maps, on groups. It was previously observed by Lubotzky that every subset of a finite simple group that is closed under endomorphisms occurs as the image of some word map. We improve upon this result by showing that the word in question can be chosen to be in any $v(\textbf{F}_n ...
