Colossal Cryogenic Electro‐Optic Response Through Metastability in Strained BaTiO3 Thin Films

Utilizing the thermodynamic theory of optical properties, a colossal cryogenic electro‐optic response in BaTiO3 thin films is designed and demonstrated by stabilizing a low symmetry metastable monoclinic phase via epitaxial strain tuning with an electro‐optic response reaching ≈2516 pm V−1 at 5 K. High‐Performance Dendrite‐Free Lithium Textile Anodes Using Interfacial Interaction‐Mediated Ultrathin Metal Organic Framework Multilayers

A novel strategy is introduced that leverages an ultrathin, lithiophilic metal‐organic framework (MOF) multilayer, applied onto textile current collectors through a coordination bonding‐based layer‐by‐layer assembly deposition for the development of a high‐performance lithium metal textile anode.

Photothermal Boost of Laser‐Synthesized TiC Colloidal Variants with Engineered Solid‐State Interfaces and Nitridation

TiC Colloidal variants are synthesized via a green and waste‐free laser fragmentation technique. The surface and elemental composition of the TiC colloids are tuned through laser‐induced carbon nucleation and nitridation while maintaining their crystal integrity. These changes maximize light–colloid interactions, thereby improving photo thermalization.

Pyridocarbene‐Based Tetradentate Pt(II) Complexes for Long Device Lifetime over 500 h in Blue Phosphorescent Organic Light–Emitting Diodes

Pt‐impy and Pt‐Me‐impy exhibit external quantum efficiencies of 24.5% and 27.4% at the 3 wt.% doping concentration, respectively. In particular, Pt‐impy and Pt‐Me‐impy doped blue PhOLEDs optimized for stability demonstrate a device lifetime of up to 95% of the initial luminance of 543 and 228 h at 1000 cd m−2, which has never been achieved in the blue ...

Taming Interfacial Ion‐Dipole Interactions With d‐Orbital Delocalized Electron Catalysis Expediates Low‐Temperature Li Metal Batteries
