SIMPLE INDICATORS OF PHYSICAL WORKING CAPACITY
Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1995Traditional methods used to estimate an individual's physical working capacity have at least one disadvantage in common, namely, the demand for expensive equipment such as cycle ergometers or treadmills. Consequently, the search for suitable tests performed in the field has been extensive.

Project Work in O.N.C. Physics
Physics Bulletin, 1965Though my article was specifically aimed at the O.N.C. physics the criticism implicit or otherwise certainly extends to school physics teachers. Too little thought is given by teachers to the practical work used in schools and colleges. I am surprised that Mr. T. Axon considers very few of the 'standard' practicals to be redundant.

In the digital transformation of work into hybrid work, the importance of physical artifacts has remained niche. In this paper, we introduce the notion of “hybrid work physicalization” to explore how people take information from physical artifacts in the hybrid workplace.

Physical working capacity and physical fitness methodology
1991Among the measurements of nutritional status and health the evaluation of physical fitness and functional capacity have an important place. They belong to the most important characteristics of the human organism: its level of development, growth, and maturation.

[Athletes' physical working capacity].
Georgian medical news, 2009Physical working capacity (PWC) and maximum oxygen consumption (VO2max) depend on athlete's sports activity. Average amount of PWC for qualified athletes in cyclic kinds of sports activity is 1586+/-339.8 kgm/min (21.8+/-0.638 kgm/min kg), endurance-trained athlete's PWC is 1625+/-359 kgm/min (23.1+/-4.1 kgm/min kg) and speed-power trained athlete's ...

Today, physics is firmly grounded in classical physics, which accurately describes much of our immediate and relatively nearby world, the mid-range scale of the cosmos; and in modern physics, quantum mechanics and relativity, which describe much of the small and large scales of the universe that lie far beyond direct human reach.
