Autonomous AI‐Driven Design for Skin Product Formulations

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This review presents a comprehensive closed‐loop framework for autonomous skin product formulation design. By integrating artificial intelligence‐driven experiment selection with automated multi‐tiered assays, the approach shifts development from trial‐and‐error to intelligent optimisation.

Hydration Behavior of Tricalcium Silicate in Seawater Relevant Salt Systems: A Hybrid Study with the Aid of Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
The hydration behavior of C3S in seawater‐relevant solutions is studied based on experiments, boundary nucleation and growth (BNG) modeling, and machine learning. The main ions included in seawater modify hydration mechanisms, with MgCl2 showing the strongest acceleration effect at the same concentration.

Gypsum hydration: a theoretical and experimental study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Calcium sulphate dihydrate (CaSO4·2H2O or gypsum) is used widely as building\ud material because of its excellent fire resistance, aesthetics, and low price. Hemihydrate occurs in two formations of α- and β-type.

VAE+DDPG: An Attention‐Enhanced Variational Autoencoder for Deep Reinforcement Learning‐Based Autonomous Navigation in Low‐Light Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Variational Autoencoder+Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient addresses low‐light failures of infrared depth sensing for indoor robot navigation. Stage 1 pretrains an attention‐enhanced Variational Autoencoder (Convolutional Block Attention Module+Feature Pyramid Network) to map dark depth frames to a well‐lit reconstruction, yielding a 128‐D latent code ...

Use of superabsorbent polymers to mitigate autogenous shrinkage in ultra-high performance concrete [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) with low w/c-ratio is very prone to the formation of cracks due to autogenous shrinkage. These cracks can lead to a decreased durability of the concrete, resulting in higher maintenance and/or repair costs in the ...

Family Dispute Resolution in Australia: The Under‐Servicing of Indigenous, Migrant and Refugee Families Experiencing Family Violence

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Improving access to legal services for Indigenous, migrant and refugee women is critical to addressing family violence. In this context, Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) has long been discussed as a solution for separating families. This paper presents key findings of a research evaluation of an Australian Government $8.37 million pilot project

Time‐course characterization of intraocular pressure in murine steroid‐induced ocular hypertension: Effects of route, schedule, and concentration

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Steroid‐induced ocular hypertension is a useful mouse model for glaucoma, but published work rarely quantifies how route, dose, and schedule shape the intraocular pressure (IOP) time‐course—hindering reproducibility and forcing labs to pilot protocols.
