Uniqueness of higher-dimensional Einstein-Maxwell-phantom dilaton wormholes
The uniqueness of static spherically symmetric traversable wormholes with two asymptotically flat ends, subject to the higher-dimensional solutions of Einstein-Maxwell-phantom dilaton field equations was proved.

Light‐Harvesting Nanomaterials Based on Dyes for Energy Transfer and Amplified Biosensing
Light harvesting (LH) in plants inspires researchers to develop artificial LH nanomaterials. Here, LH nanomaterials based on organic dyes are reviewed, considering fundamental challenges on aggregation‐caused quenching, excitation energy transfer, and exciton migration length.

Wormhole Restrictions from Quantum Energy Inequalities
Wormhole solutions, bridges that connect different parts of spacetime, were proposed early in the history of General Relativity. Soon after, it was shown that all wormholes violate classical energy conditions, which are non-negativity constraints on ...

Gravitational Lensing by Lemaître–Tolman–Bondi Wormholes in a Friedmann Universe
The Lemaître–Tolman–Bondi (LTB) solution to the Einstein equations describes the dynamics of a self-gravitating spherically symmetric dust cloud with an arbitrary density profile and any distribution of initial velocities, encoded in three arbitrary ...

Abstract A Casimir wormhole is a traversable wormhole powered by a Casimir energy source within a static reference frame. A natural extension of this system is the inclusion of rotation. We will explore two basic configurations: one with radially varying Casimir plates and another with parametrically fixed plates.

MODIFIED CHAPLYGIN TRAVERSABLE WORMHOLES
Modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) is a strong candidate for the unified model of dark matter and dark energy. The equation of state of this modified model is valid from the radiation era to the ΛCDM model. In the early epoch (when ρ was large), dark matter had the dominant role, while at later stages (when ρ is small), the MCG model behaves as dark energy.

WORMHOLES AND CHILD UNIVERSES [PDF]
Evidence to the case that classical gravitation provides the clue to make sense out of quantum gravity is presented. The key observation is the existence in classical gravitation of child universe solutions or "almost" solutions, "almost" because of some singularity problems.

How to tell the shape of a wormhole by its quasinormal modes
Here we shall show how to reconstruct the shape function of a spherically symmetric traversable Lorenzian wormhole near its throat if one knows high frequency quasinormal modes of the wormhole. The wormhole spacetime is given by the Morris–Thorne ansatz.

Firewalls at exponentially late times
We consider a version of the typical state firewall setup recently reintroduced by Stanford and Yang, who found that wormholes may create firewalls. We examine a late-time scaling limit in JT gravity in which one can resum the expansion in the number of ...
